(Reuters) -Republican former President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday he is not going to debate Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, hours after Fox Information invited the 2 presidential contenders to take part in a potential second debate on both Oct. 24 or Oct. 27.
Trump and Harris debated one another for the primary time on Sept. 10. Trump has stated there wouldn’t be one other debate earlier than the Nov. 5 election. He rejected a previous invitation from CNN for an Oct. 23 debate, accepted by Harris.
Trump and Harris face one another in what polls present to be a decent race for the Nov. 5 U.S. elections.
In its assertion, Fox stated a second debate “would present an opportunity for each candidate to make their closing arguments.”
